So, my kids left my desktop on all night. I hit the space bar to bring it out of sleep mode and it went to the login screen. I restarted from there .... entered my password and it booted into Windows. After about 30 seconds it completely shut off and I had to power up with the power button. Worked fine after that. Was that a "glitch" or is something else happening?

Hiy Blu, For now, I will consider that a glitch. Just be more aware of your machines performance for a while. Take a mental note of anything else that seems out of the ordinary. If you get other small problems in the near future, they could be related. If not, then chalk it up as a "glitch". But, you never know... maybe a year from now, something will happen and you will say, "Remember about a year ago, when it shut down by itself? I bet that is what made it do that!"
Let me know if you have any other issues crop up!
Regards, Michael
